Hey I have a problem downloading LBZ. So I Downloaded it then extracted all, then ran it. Then I got a message saying fmodex.dll was missing . But then I got it to work. But then when I ran it again it had the upgrading screen on, then it went black for a second then nothing happened. I checked and it said it was running, but then a little message came up saying EXCEPTION_ACCESS_VIOLATION. I didn’t know what I did wrong so I just kept on trying over and over again. Please help.
Hi! i am sorry to hear that, i am working hard to improve this situation.
I have 4 questions:
I’m downloaded it from lbz3d
I’m running windows 10
I have Trend Micro
I’m running from C:\Users\deave_000\Downloads\LemmingBallZALPHA_WIN_AND_LINUX.5 (I’m not much of a tech guy)
Thank you so much. I really not sure what I did wrong.

Tried to download the game via your link and run the tool (uninstall)
Got the Same Problem with the dll file
You mean you tried the full instructions of https://lbz3d.com/updaterfix
And then when you run lbzwin.exe you get a message that fmodex.dll is missing? Do i understand that correctly?
Where did you unzip the zipfile if i may ask?
Yes correct.
i unzip the file in the same file where i downloaded it
And where is that? something like c:\Users\[name]\Downloads\LemmingBallZALPHA i am guessing?
Try removing the folder c:\Users\[username]\Documents\LBZ ALPHA Game Data

Hi, did you perhaps run the game straight from the zip file? If so: extract it first, if not: try running WIN_TOOL_UNINSTALL.BAT first. Then try again
tried it as well.. nothing works.. its like it cant find sth what is in the same folder
Where are you running from? I mean where did you extract the files? Or are you perhaps running from the documents/LBZ alpha game data folder?
same thing here.
I also ran the WIN TOOL UNINSTALL BAT but it did nothing.
Where did you download the game from? Try https://lbz3d.com/updaterfix
does not serve anything that serves you tell me anything please help me
Hi! I don’t understand what you are trying to say.
my game is giving error
This and the error:Unhandled exception 10AssertFail: ‘_ASSERT(consoleDoc != nullptr); is false in lbz/cb9modules/gui/cb9rocket.cpp’ A logbook of this evente will be sent to the developer.
file:C:/User/mat33243/Documents/LBZ ALPHA Game Data/cb9runtimelog.txt
This usually happens because of files left behind by a previous LBZ. To clean up, run WIN_TOOL_UNINSTALL.BAT and try again.
Very awesome game indeed. But I can’t get this new version to start: Says it needs ‘fmodex.dll’ which is in the folder already. Tried with running as admin and it didn’t help.
Try running the WIN_TOOL_UNINSTALL.bat and then try to run it again. :)
